Brazil trains without Neymar and Marquinhos

The brazilian Neymar and Marquinhos, both PSG players, who were unable to join the rest of the expedition that will travel to Qatar in 2022 on time due to a delay in their flight from Paris, did so this afternoon after finishing the first preparatory training for the World Cup in Juventus facilities.

The striker and defender, key and indisputable in the ‘verdeamarela’ eleven, could not appear in the first training session along with the rest of the chosen ones of Tite, the Brazilian coach.

A first session in which only the three goalkeepers took to the field, Alisson (Liverpool), Ederson (Man. City) and Weverton (Palmeiras); and a small group of eleven players made up of Vinicius, Rodrigo, Militao (Real Madrid), Raphina (Barcelona), Alex Telles (Sevilla), Dani Alves (Pumas), Fred, Antony (Man. United), Pedro, Ribeiro (Flamengo ) and Alex Sandro (Juventus), who did not play this weekend.

The good news was put by Antony, who jumped to the green after having missed the last five United games.

The players had a smooth session that began with a warm-up and continued with a rondo, a possession with reduced spaces and with specific work on the line, separating defenders, midfielders and forwards.

The attackers showed their quality with exercises that included finishing.

In addition, five Premier League players such as Richarlison (Tottenham), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle), Gabriel Jesús, Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Fabinho (Liverpool) and Lucas Paquetá (West Ham) have come out to watch training but have not made field work, without even putting on their boots, since they had minutes this weekend.

Thiago Silva (Chelsea), Casemiro (United), Bremer and Danilo (Juventus) also carried out recovery work inside the facilities after having played this weekend in the Premier and in Serie A.

The next training session for the Brazilian team is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. local time, followed immediately by a press conference. The ‘Canarinha’ will be in Italy until Saturday the 19th, when they will head to Qatar, five days before their debut against Serbia.
